Diyan Petkov

Diyan Petkov has a strong background in electrical engineering and technical support, with professional experience spanning over a decade. Starting as a Technical Support Specialist at ACM Ltd from September 2009 to April 2011, Diyan provided support for 3M, Moeller (Eaton), Areva, and FLIR products and conducted training on 3M cold shrink joints and FLIR electrical thermography. Following this role, Diyan served as an Electrical Technician at The AES Corporation from April 2011 to September 2015, focusing on the maintenance and operation of power plant electrical equipment, including motors and transformers, as well as HV switching procedures. Since September 2015, Diyan has been employed at Google as part of the commissioning and operations team for Google Data Centers, overseeing the construction and commissioning processes. Diyan holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Varna and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from the National Military University "Vasil Levski," along with a qualification as an Electronics Technician from the Professional High School of Electronics “John Atanasoff.”
