Doris Liu

Doris Liu is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in both academia and the tech industry. Liu began a career as a Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University from September 2008 to June 2010, followed by a role as a Software Engineering Intern at Barco in June 2009. After completing a Master of Science in Computer Science from Oregon State University, Liu worked at Tesla Motors from February 2011 to July 2012, where contributions included gesture recognition and UI improvements for the Model S infotainment system. Since July 2012, Liu has served as a Staff Software Engineer at Google, leading the design and implementation of animation libraries for Jetpack Compose, which have enhanced Android's modern UI toolkit and received acclaim from the developer community. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from Shandong University and an M.S. in Computer Science from Oregon State University.
