Eric Cox

Eric Cox is an experienced technology professional with a background in software development, team leadership, and project management. Eric began as an Undergraduate Lab Assistant Programmer at the Center for Simulation of Advanced Rockets, where team leadership skills were demonstrated. Subsequent roles included Software Development Manager for Amazon Chime, responsible for overseeing diverse engineering teams and initiating the web development team, and contributing as a Software Engineer. Eric also gained early experience as a Programming Intern at Chicago Trading Company focusing on option pricing software, followed by a rotational program at Boeing, which involved both project management and software engineering. Currently, Eric serves as an Engineering Manager at Google Cloud Security Command Center, leveraging extensive expertise in Java Spring, NoSQL, and Agile methodologies. Eric holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
