Erik Brown

Erik Brown is a seasoned professional in software engineering and program management, with significant experience across leading technology companies. Starting as a Software Engineering Intern at IBM, Erik contributed to web applications at the Almaden Research Center and later gained QA experience at Sun Microsystems. At Adobe, Erik worked as a Software Engineer on the original Adobe Stock Photos product and initiated a partnership to explore ontology for search relevance. Transitioning to Apple, Erik held the roles of Software Engineer and Sr. Program & Product Manager, overseeing the development of high-visibility mobile and web applications. Currently, Erik serves as a Technical Program Manager at Google, leading efforts on the Search Generative Experience team focused on innovating Google Search through Generative AI. Erik holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego.
