Finn Carlsvi

Finn Carlsvi is a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer currently at Google since September 2024, with a strong background in systems and software engineering. Prior to this, Finn worked at X, the moonshot factory from June 2018 to September 2024, also as a Staff Software Engineer. Finn's earlier experience includes roles as an Embedded System Engineer at Matternet Inc and as a Systems Engineer at PRENAV. At Caltech, from January to September 2015, Finn contributed to the AAReST Satellite project, collaborating with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Additionally, Finn served as a Research Assistant at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where significant contributions included the development and testing of instrument booms for NASA missions and research on Autonomous Underwater Vehicles. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Caltech and dual Bachelor's degrees in Engineering Physics and Computational Mathematics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
