Gregory Newstadt is a highly accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software engineering and research. Gregory served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan from January 2013 to July 2014, focusing on adaptive sensing and Bayesian inference. Gregory then joined Google, initially as a Software Engineer from July 2014 to January 2021, and currently holds the position of Staff Software Engineer. Academically, Gregory earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Miami University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering: Systems, a Master of Arts in Statistics, and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering: Systems, all from the University of Michigan.
