Haowen Ning

Haowen Ning is an experienced software engineer specializing in machine learning and large language model infrastructure. Currently serving as an ML / LLM Infra Software Engineer at Google since July 2025, Haowen focuses on LLM inference engines for the Google Gemini family models. Prior to this role, Haowen spent nearly a decade at LinkedIn, initially as a Senior Software Engineer, then as a Staff Software Engineer, and ultimately as a Senior Staff Software Engineer in ML Infra, where significant contributions included leading the development of LLM training platforms and messaging AI projects. Haowen also worked at Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on Azure SQL database management, and as a Software Development Engineer 2 at Amazon.com, enhancing backend software systems for AWS. In addition, Haowen led the AnyMemo Project, creating a successful spaced repetition software for Android. Haowen holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Science and Technology of China.
