Harshit Jain

Harshit Jain is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in cloud services and backup solutions, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Google since June 2021. Prior to this role, Harshit worked at Microsoft from July 2017 to June 2021, contributing to the Azure Backup team by developing a robust Backup as a Platform Service and managing large-scale backup configurations for Windows Servers. Earlier experiences include a Software Engineer Intern role at Nutanix, where work focused on improving data replication functionality, and internships at Samsung India and Gymneus Sports Tech Design, enhancing real-time mapping and developing an autonomous feedback device, respectively. Harshit began their career with a summer internship at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, optimizing a skeleton tracking library. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
