Helen Kim is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in motion graphics and user experience design. From July 2017 to July 2021, Helen served as Art Director and Motion Designer at Instagram. Prior roles include Designer and Compositor at Shilo (March 2009 - March 2012), Freelance Designer at Charlex (August 2012 - June 2015), and Freelance Motion Designer for Google SIMUX team in November 2016. Helen also worked with dot/dot llc as a designer/compositor from March 2012 to May 2017 and held freelance positions with Apple and Google. Since August 2021, Helen has been a Staff UX Designer at Google. Helen earned a BFA in Motion Graphics from the School of Visual Arts between 2006 and 2009.
