Helin Wang

Helin Wang is a Staff Software Engineer at Google, where they serve as the tech lead manager of the Structured Data Classification/Regression team, focusing on building MLOps-based Tabular Workflows. Prior to Google, Helin worked at Baidu USA as a Staff Software Engineer on the PaddlePaddle deep learning framework and contributed to self-driving car technology and speech recognition products. Their experience also includes roles at Yahoo and Rockmelt, where they developed various applications and imaging technologies. Helin holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China and Carnegie Mellon University, respectively. They began their technical journey by creating a human-like boxing robot during a university competition and selling their own game hacks as an undergraduate.
