Hyojoon Park

Hyojoon Park is an experienced professional with a strong background in engineering and computer sciences. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Korea University and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University, complemented by a current pursuit of a PhD in Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Hyojoon has held various positions, including Software Intern focusing on Physics-Based Simulations at NVIDIA and Industrial Metaverse Intern at Nokia Bell Labs. Previous experience includes a Research Intern role at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, where a VR hand rendering framework was developed and published at IROS 2020, and a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Utah, contributing to a SIGGRAPH 2021 publication. Additionally, Hyojoon served as a Military Interpreter with the Republic of Korea Army. Currently serving as a Student Researcher at Google, Hyojoon Park brings a diverse skill set and significant research experience to the field.
