Ishan Gala

Ishan Gala is an experienced professional with a strong background in engineering and artificial intelligence. At the University of Southern California, Ishan served as a Viterbi Graduate Orientation Leader, facilitating orientation events for over 1,500 new engineering students, and as a VASE Intern, managing the New Student Website. Additionally, Ishan worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Realization of Robotic Systems Lab, focusing on robotic manipulation. Ishan has also been involved in AI research at MIT-WPU Institute of Artificial Intelligence, contributing to four published papers, and has held internships as a Robotics Engineer and Software Engineer at Avalon Mfg. Following previous roles, Ishan is currently a Software Engineer at Google, working on the Payments Platform, and has experience developing machine learning models during an internship at Atomic Loops.
