Jack Fisher is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a Senior Economist on the Economics Team at Google since August 2025, Jack has held several prestigious roles including Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Business School from October 2023 to August 2024 and Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Virginia from August 2024 to August 2025. Previous positions include Pre Doctoral Fellow at The London School of Economics and Political Science from October 2016 to September 2017 and Postgraduate Intern at the Bank of England in 2016. Additionally, Jack gained practical experience as an Applied Scientist PhD Intern at Uber from May 2023 to August 2023.
