Jakob Cornell

Jakob Cornell is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in backend development, particularly in Python and C++. At UtilityAPI, Jakob transitioned the primary data collection platform to a more reliable framework while enhancing engineering documentation. At Google, Jakob currently contributes to the Google Cloud Platform's networking infrastructure, focusing on hardware offload of programmable packet processing for VM infrastructure. Previous roles include peer tutoring and research at Oberlin College, along with internships at U.S. Bank and UnitedHealth Group, where Jakob developed tools and implemented security policies.
