James Kwan

James Kwan is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in finance, marketing, and coaching. Kwan served as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs from June 2014 to 2016, focusing on long-term investment research in the Tech, Healthcare, and Telecom sectors. Prior to this, Kwan interned with The Coca-Cola Company's Global Marketing Strategy team, contributing to a successful winter campaign for Sprite and expanding its international presence. As the Founder of the Oakland Athletic Rowing Society, a non-profit organization established in 2016, Kwan dedicated efforts to making rowing accessible to underrepresented communities. Additionally, Kwan co-founded and served as Head Coach at the Golden State Rowing Club from July 2022 to December 2023. Experience at Google includes roles as a Global Business Strategy Senior Associate and a Strategy & Operations Program Manager, where focus areas included operational strategy for AdWords sales and resource allocation. Kwan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Princeton University, earned in 2014.
