Jeanette Manfra is a seasoned professional in the fields of risk management and cybersecurity, currently serving as the Global Director of Risk and Compliance at Google since January 2020. Prior to this role, Jeanette held multiple positions within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from September 2010 to January 2020, including Assistant Secretary for Cybersecurity and Communications, Counselor to the Secretary, Deputy Director of the Office of Emergency Communications, and Deputy Director of Enterprise Performance Management. Additionally, Jeanette served as the Director for Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity on the National Security Council Staff at The White House from May 2014 to April 2015. Jeanette holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
