Jeff Amelang has a robust background in mechanical engineering, with academic and professional experiences spanning teaching and research roles. As a Teaching Assistant at Caltech and BYU from 2006 to 2013, Jeff mentored students in various engineering courses. Jeff's research internships at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Viewpoints Research Institute, and Los Alamos National Laboratory involved developing algorithms and software related to material modeling and computer graphics. Jeff served as a Visiting Professor in the Computer Science Department at Harvey Mudd College, teaching a course on high-performance computing.
