Jeffrey Shen

Jeffrey Shen is a software engineer with extensive internship experience in various technology companies, including Northrop Grumman, Qualcomm, and Google. At Northrop Grumman, Jeffrey contributed to the Cybersecurity Infrastructure Team by developing backend API routes for a web app. At Qualcomm, responsibilities included creating an automated test framework and designing a new sleep algorithm for 5G modem software. Jeffrey held leadership roles in FRC Team 1197 TorBots, programming robot control systems and developing data analysis applications. Recent positions at Google and AppFolio, Inc. focused on software engineering tasks, including the development of APIs and device traffic workflows. Educated at the University of California, Berkeley, Jeffrey earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, while also serving as a teaching assistant and course reader in related subjects.
