Jiawei Wu

Jiawei Wu is a software engineer currently working at Google on the GCP Team since May 2024. Prior to this role, Jiawei served as an undergraduate mentor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, providing guidance in software design concepts and Python programming. Jiawei gained software engineering experience at City Health Tech Inc., contributing to web application development and the creation of a platform for connecting startup founders and freelancers. Additional roles include research assistantship in robotic interactions, project lead for a peer-to-peer marketplace, and frontend web development for an information system redesign at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Early experiences include participation in a startup accelerator and media management for Nihon Ippudo, along with leadership in arts programs. Jiawei Wu is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with a foundational education from The Baldwin School of Puerto Rico and Wesleyan Academy.
