Jingyu Cui

Jingyu Cui is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in image processing and artificial intelligence. As the Director of Engineering at Google since July 2013, Jingyu Cui has led the development of assistive features for Google Photos, including Memories, image and video search, and smart suggestions. Prior to this role, Jingyu Cui was a software engineer intern at Google, focusing on image compression algorithms, and held various academic positions, including MS/PhD student at Stanford University and M.S. and B.E. student at Tsinghua University. Jingyu Cui's professional journey also includes serving as CTO at CoolBar, where international collaboration with a Fortune 500 company took place, and involvement in projects at Microsoft related to image segmentation and face recognition.
