Joel Rorseth currently serves as a PhD Intern at Google since May 2025, building on prior experience as a Software Engineering Manager at Movyl Technologies from September 2022 to May 2025, where management of a team of data engineers and software architecture for ML/data pipelines was key. A PhD Intern at LlamaIndex from May 2024 to August 2024, Rorseth developed a novel LLM agent debugger and enhanced capabilities in the LlamaIndex Python library.
