John Cassidy is a seasoned product designer with extensive experience across various companies and roles. Currently serving as a Staff Product Designer at YouTube since June 2021, John has previously worked as a Product Designer at Google from June 2019 to June 2021 and held positions such as Sr. Designer at GTB and Organic between 2010 and 2011, and Design lead at Google Research incubator. Additional experience includes roles at Elemental, Inc., Octane Design, and Jigsaw, as well as co-creating product designs at Area 120, Google. Prior to these roles, John freelanced as a designer and has a background in artistic music design from 1998 to 2004.
