John Scarbrough

John Scarbrough has extensive experience in information security and incident response, having worked at several notable companies. Initially, John interned at MATRIX Resources in 2012, followed by a role at Macy's from 2018 to 2020, where responsibilities included multiple positions within Threat Operations, culminating as a Senior Analyst in Information Security Response. Following Macy's, John served at Mandiant from January 2020 to July 2021, progressing from Senior Consultant to Principal Consultant in Incident Response. In November 2022, John joined Google as a Principal Consultant in Incident Response and was promoted to Manager in April 2023. Education includes dual Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Computer and Information Systems and Finance from Georgia State University, completed between 2011 and 2015.
