John Weir is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and infrastructure management. Weir held significant roles at Goldman Sachs from January 2004 to September 2015, including Technology Fellow, Executive Director, Managing Director with a focus on Middleware Engineering, and Managing Director and CTO of Operations Technology. Following this, Weir served at BNY Mellon from November 2016 to December 2018 as Head of Infrastructure and Head of Engineering for Resilent Systems, achieving Managing Director status. At JPMorgan Chase & Co., from September 2019 to May 2021, Weir led Data Ecosystems at Chase and oversaw Architecture and Engineering initiatives. Earlier in career, Weir gained experience at Internet Systems Ltd as a Software Engineer, Marks and Spencer as a Software Developer, Logica as a Software Engineer, and Diamond Programming as a Consultant.
