Josh Ellis is an accomplished audio professional with extensive experience in sound design and production. Serving in the U.S. Coast Guard from March 2002 to March 2009 as an Aviation Maintenance Technician and SAR Flight Crew member, Josh transitioned to the creative industry as the Entrepreneurial Founder of JealousAudio from September 2009 to July 2017, managing projects exceeding $1 million and earning a nomination for "Best Sound Effects Editing" from the Motion Picture Sound Editors Guild. Following this, Josh held various roles at Amazon from September 2019 to March 2020, contributing to audio production and the creation of an internal media suite. Currently, since January 2022, Josh works as a Senior UX Sound & Haptics Designer at Google, leading accessibility-focused sound design projects. Josh completed a Bachelor of Science in Audio Design Technologies from the Art Institute of Seattle between 2009 and 2012.
