Junyao Zhang is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Duke University, where they also serve as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. Currently, Junyao works as a Software Engineer at Google, focusing on bringing the latest TPU hardware to Google Cloud, and previously optimized TPU compiler for large language model fusion kernels as a Research Intern. They gained valuable experience as an R&D Engineer at Synopsys, developing analysis tools and contributing to clock marking algorithms. Additionally, Junyao has interned at Accenture, researching novel security protocols for quantum systems, and mentored students at the University of Southern California.
