Kailiang Chen

Kailiang Chen is a software engineer with extensive experience in multimedia and camera technology, currently working at Google since June 2021 on the Android Camera & Media Platform. Previous roles include software engineering positions at YouTube, Uber, and Sony Tokyo, where significant contributions were made to the development of codec algorithms and audio/video system software. Additionally, Kailiang has experience as a software engineer intern at NVIDIA, focusing on 2D/3D camera technologies for mobile devices. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and dual Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Image Processing from Fudan University.
