Kalpana Behara is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in media strategy, program management, and digital transformation across prominent technology companies. Currently serving as Sector Head of Media Strategy at Google since October 2021, Kalpana leads media planning and advanced analytics, while also championing DEI initiatives. Previously, Kalpana held the position of Director of Program Management and Head of Digitization at Uber, where involvement in establishing the Uber India Center of Excellence was pivotal. At Meta, as Head of Ad Operations for the Asia Pacific region, Kalpana was instrumental in founding Facebook India and developing global teams in measurement and media planning. Earlier roles at Google and NIIT contributed to foundational operations and education in technology across India.
