Kan Chen

Kan Chen is a research scientist at Google, contributing to the development of Veo v2 and leading video generation model development in Google Cloud. They have previously held positions as a senior research scientist at Waymo, focusing on behavior prediction and planning, and at Facebook AI, where they worked on deep learning model optimization. Their early experiences include research internships at Baidu USA and Adobe, as well as a summer exchange at Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago. Kan is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a master's degree in Computer Science, and a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Southern California, all with outstanding academic performance.
