Karen Courington serves as Vice President at Google since May 2022, following a tenure as Senior Director of Product Support Operations at Facebook from October 2015 to May 2022. Prior to these roles, Courington worked as a Senior Defense Policy Advisor in the Office of Senator Tim Kaine and held various positions in the United States Air Force Reserve, including Major and Protocol Officer-in-Charge, while also serving as a C-17 pilot. Additional experience includes being a Presidential Management Fellow at the Office of the Secretary of Defense and leading the Veterans on Wall Street program at Deutsche Bank. Courington's educational background includes a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, participation in Seminar XXI at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.
