Karin Little is a seasoned design leader with extensive experience in user experience (UX) across various high-profile companies. Currently serving as UX Lead for Google Maps since September 2025, Karin oversees complex UX initiatives that integrate driving, real-time traffic, and multi-modal directions. Previous roles include Senior Director of Travel and Lifestyle at Capital One, where Karin directed the user experience team for premium cardholder experiences, and Director of User Experience at Walmart, focusing on enhancing the design system across enterprise applications. Karin has held multiple UX leadership positions at Google, including leading travel search initiatives and managing teams for Google Play apps. Earlier experience includes directing design efforts at Jawbone, serving as Executive Service Design Director at Fjord (part of Accenture Song), and Creative Director at frog, where Karin combined user insights with business strategy to drive digital transformation. Karin holds a BA and BFA in Art History and Fine Art from the University of Michigan and has studied at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
