Kevin Haas is an accomplished engineering leader with a diverse background in machine learning and software development. Kevin's experience includes serving as Group Engineering Manager at Microsoft, overseeing the integration of social media content into Bing search results, and as Director of Engineering at Waymo, where Kevin built machine learning infrastructure. At Google, Kevin is currently leading the development of foundational model platforms after previously managing the redesign of TensorFlow’s ML pipeline. Kevin's tenure at Amazon Web Services as Head of Engineering involved advancing machine learning technologies, while earlier roles at Yahoo! and IBM focused on search technologies and analytics projects. Kevin holds a BA and BS in Mathematics and Computer Science, respectively, from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MS in Computer Science from Stanford University.
