Kyle Gardner

Kyle Gardner serves as the Government Affairs and Public Policy Lead at Google since June 2022, overseeing public policy initiatives and government relations in South Asia and Mongolia, with a focus on data privacy and cybersecurity in Vietnam. Previously, Kyle held positions as Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council and Nonresident Scholar at the Sigur Center for Asian Studies, where Kyle authored a publication on the India-China border and engaged with influential scholars. Experience also includes roles at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and McLarty Associates, advising clients on government relations strategies, and a significant academic background at the University of Chicago, where Kyle taught various subjects and received multiple teaching accolades. Kyle's educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and an MA in History from the University of Chicago, as well as a BA in History from Wesleyan University.
