Mark Foltz is an experienced technical lead who currently works at Google as a Senior Staff Software Engineer, focusing on incubating and delivering new media technologies for the Web platform. Prior to joining Google in 2003, Mark developed key site infrastructure components as a Software Engineer at Emode, Inc. In addition to their work at Google, Mark serves as the primary author and specification editor for the Open Screen Protocol at W3C, and has been actively involved with the Presentation API Specification. Mark holds a PhD in Computer Science from MIT, where they also worked as a Research Assistant, and a BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
