Matt Chang is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and technical program management. Beginning a career at Yahoo! as a Technical Intern, Matt gained foundational skills in click fraud detection for sponsored search ads. Matt advanced to the Haas School of Business as a Computer Consultant before joining Microsoft, where responsibilities included roles as Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer focused on Contextual Ads and Product Ads from 2010 to 2017. A transition to Google in 2017 saw Matt take on various roles within Search Data Science & Engineering and Google Workspace, leading to the current position as Senior Technical Program Manager since May 2023. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
