Maxim Porges

Maxim Porges currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Google since May 2022, leading global engineering teams focused on network security technologies to protect Google's products from various malicious threats. Prior to this role, Porges was the Senior Vice President of Engineering at StackPath, where leadership was provided to a hybrid team responsible for a prominent global edge computing and content delivery platform, serving notable clients such as Roblox and Valve. Porges also held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Highwinds, overseeing the content delivery network and technical operations, after previously directing agile software engineering teams at the same company. Earlier in the career, extensive experience was gained at Westgate Resorts, where multiple engineering leadership roles were held. Maxim Porges earned a degree in Computer Programming and Analysis from Valencia College.
