Maya Morihara

Maya Morihara is a co-founder and co-owner of CONTEXTED, where renovations of traditional Japanese “nagaya” collective houses have transformed them into vacation rentals, earning notable awards such as the Wood Design Award 2020 and a Hospitality award from the Forestry Agency. Prior to this venture, Maya gained experience at Sony Marketing of Japan as a B2B sales representative and later held roles as a Marketing Communication Strategist and User Experience Producer within Sony, contributing to global marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives. Currently, Maya serves as a senior marketing manager at Google, following a Bachelor of Arts in Environment and Information Studies from Keio University.
