Michael Chirico has extensive experience in data science, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Google since November 2022, following a tenure as a Data Scientist starting in September 2020. Prior to Google, Michael worked at Grab from March 2019 to August 2020 as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist, contributing to critical transportation solutions for over 620 million people in Southeast Asia. Michael holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, where education also included a B.A. in Mathematics & Economics with a Japanese minor, a Data Science certification from The Data Incubator, and studies in Mathematics & Economics at Drexel University.
