Michael Howell

Michael Howell has extensive experience in healthcare leadership, serving in various senior roles at Google from October 2017 to July 2025, including Chief Health Officer and Chief Clinical Officer. Prior to this, Michael contributed to the University of Chicago Medicine as Chief Quality Officer and founding director of the Center for Healthcare Delivery Science and Innovation from January 2013 to September 2017. Michael's academic background includes positions at Harvard Medical School as Associate and Assistant Professor of Medicine and Director roles at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
