Michael McCarthy is a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer with a strong background in software engineering and system reliability. Commencing a career at Fairfax Media from July 2010 to December 2014, Michael then advanced to BigCommerce as an Engineer until January 2017. Subsequently, Michael served as a Site Reliability Engineer at Atlassian for four years before joining Google in January 2021, where current responsibilities as SRE continue. Michael holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Sydney, obtained between 2005 and 2009.
