Mithra Rajah is an experienced technology leader currently serving as a Director at Google since September 2010. In this role, Mithra has led teams focused on Git build, test, and release processes within the Core Developer division, contributing to products utilized across Google, Alphabet’s other ventures, and the open-source community. Additionally, Mithra oversees portions of the Git Development Suite for various Google products, enhancing developer experiences through AI-powered solutions. Prior roles at Google include Senior Engineering Manager, where Mithra focused on engineering productivity across multiple product development teams, and key positions in software engineering, including the management of Google Kubernetes Engine and Google Photos infrastructure. Before joining Google, Mithra gained valuable experience as an Analyst Developer at Goldman Sachs and also completed internships and co-op programs at Goldman Sachs and EMC. Mithra holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
