Mohit Agarwal

Mohit Agarwal is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Google since February 2023, specializing in post-training interventions for production-level large language models at the Mountain View, California site. Prior to this role, Mohit served as a Vice President Quantitative Strategist at Goldman Sachs from February 2021 to February 2023, and previously held the position of Associate Quantitative Strategist at the same company. Mohit gained valuable research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2014 to February 2021, focusing on reinforcement learning and human-computer interfaces. Earlier internships included a Core Wireless Internship at Apple in 2018, where a system-level discrete event simulator was developed, and a Machine Learning Internship at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 2017, which involved automating point cloud estimations with machine learning methods. Mohit holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, obtained in 2020 and 2017, respectively.
