Nadav Barkan

Nadav Barkan is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leading design teams and developing innovative solutions. Currently serving as the Head of Design at Waze (Google) since October 2024, Nadav previously held the position of VP Design at Fiverr, overseeing a large team of designers and significantly contributing to the company's strategic direction. Nadav's academic involvement as a Senior Lecturer at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design encompasses subjects such as Typography and Graphic Design. Earlier roles include Director of Product Design at SimilarWeb, Senior Product Designer at Google, and various positions in design consultancy and freelance work, highlighting a strong foundation in branding, UX, and visual communication. Nadav holds a Master’s degree in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts London and a Bachelor's degree in Design and Visual Communications from Shenkar.
