Nathan Mittler is a Principal Architect at Aviatrix, working on Istio, an open source service mesh. Previously, Nathan held positions at Google where they contributed as a Staff and Senior Software Engineer. Nathan also developed safety alerting enhancements for the ASDE-X runway safety system at Sensis Corporation and complex simulations for Air Traffic Management at Saab. They earned a BS in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
