Nithya Mahadevan

Nithya Mahadevan is the Head of Data Science & AI at Google, overseeing data science teams across the Americas since April 2019. This role involves leading efforts to develop advanced machine learning models that enhance customer ROI with Google products. Prior experience includes positions as a Data Science Manager and Senior Data Scientist at The Boston Consulting Group from May 2018 to May 2019, and earlier roles as a Senior Data Scientist at Cars.com and a Data Scientist at Mu Sigma Inc. Nithya began a career in data science with internships and research roles, including a position at the Indian Institute of Science and a summer internship at Sowparnika Projects and Infrastructure Pvt Ltd. Nithya holds a Master of Science in Computational Decision Science & Operations Research from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
