Paul Cavallaro

Paul Cavallaro is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in high-tech environments. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Google since 2017, Paul focuses on Search Infrastructure and Distributed Filesystems. Prior to this, Paul worked as a Systems Engineer at Oscar Insurance from 2015 to 2017, contributing to technology improvements in health insurance. Between 2013 and 2015, Paul was a Software Engineer at Facebook, involved in developing next-generation in-memory distributed monitoring storage and visualizations, as well as working on experimental implementations of HHVM and Hack. Paul began the career as a Software Developer at HubSpot from 2010 to 2012, where responsibilities included building RESTful Java Email APIs and designing a CMS in Django. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Princeton University.
