Prajakta Joshi

Prajakta Joshi is an accomplished Senior Engineering Manager currently at Google since January 2023, having previously held the same title at Facebook from August 2021 to January 2023, where efforts supported RTC control plane infrastructure for various apps. Prior to this, Prajakta served as Principal Group Engineering Manager for Azure IOT at Microsoft from March 2020 to July 2021, managing distributed engineering teams and contributing to an open source platform. Previous experience also includes significant roles at Google, focusing on Google Cloud Platform systems, and a long tenure at Microsoft in various engineering and management positions related to Azure ML, Bing Local Search, and Silverlight development. Prajakta holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.
