Puneet Anand

Puneet Anand is a Software Engineer III at Google since July 2021, previously serving as a Software Engineer II. Prior experience includes an Applied Scientist Intern role at Amazon, where Puneet conducted a comprehensive survey on state-of-the-art techniques for enhancing transformer model inference throughput and proposed architectural innovations to reduce latency. Additional experience includes a Software Engineer Intern position at Apple, focusing on the development of an Internal Trace and Log Analysis tool, and a Product Engineering Intern role at Sprinklr, which involved research on scalable techniques for visual object segmentation. Puneet's earlier internship at Happiest Minds Technologies involved training a neural network on a large-scale fashion dataset. Puneet holds a Dual Degree (B.E. in Computer Science and M.Sc. in Mathematics) from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, obtained between 2016 and 2021.
