Rahul Banerjee is a software engineer currently employed at Google since December 2019, following a role as a research assistant at the University of Washington from September 2011 to November 2019, where BlockStudio was developed at the Center for Game Science. Prior experience includes serving as a senior software engineer at NVIDIA, focusing on graphics drivers from June 2005 to November 2009, and working as a pipeline technical director at DreamWorks Dedicated Unit (Technicolor) from November 2009 to April 2011, providing technical support and optimization for simulation pipeline software. Additionally, Rahul completed a research internship at Pixar Animation Studios in the summer of 2012. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Washington and an M.Tech. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
