Raunak Rai has extensive experience in software engineering and artificial intelligence, with a notable tenure at Google from 2016 to the present. Initially serving as a Staff Software Engineer and later as a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Raunak contributed significantly to the TensorFlow framework, improving training speeds and reducing failure rates for large-scale training tasks. Currently, as Director of AI Platform Engineering at Google Cloud, Raunak leads a large engineering organization and has successfully driven the growth of the Vertex AI Platform, achieving over 150% growth in cloud AI revenue.
